Aside from dogs, my other passion is horses. I live on a small farm, Wild Dreams Farm, where I train horses. Life is truly a blessing and I am so grateful to be able to work with my beloved animals each and every day!

Cocker Poodle Doo is a full service mobile dog grooming salon, self-contained in a 7’ x 14’ trailer converted by Wag'n Tails. Inside you will find a complete grooming salon which includes a full-sized stainless steel bathtub, electric grooming table, high velocity dryers, hot and cold water, heat and air conditioning, and a ClipperVac system. All I need to do my job is a safe place to park my truck and trailer. I carry my own water supply and the trailer is powered by an inverter battery system and quiet RV generator which easily run all my equipment. In the event of an equipment failure, I have a backup power cord that I can plug into an standard outlet usually found in your garage or outside.

Mobile Grooming Salon

I have been a lifelong animal lover, but have always had an extra special love for dogs. When I was little, I had no interest in dolls, I only wanted to play with my large collection of stuffed dogs, many dog figurines and My Little Pony toys. My favorite books were about dogs, not princesses! I always knew that I wanted to do something with animals, but veterinarian was too scientific and not creative enough for me. I also knew I would never be happy working in an office and as far back as middle school, I was set on one day having my own business. I started grooming in December of 2003 and spent over three years working in a home-based salon assisting an experienced and successful groomer who taught me everything she knew. After gaining the skills I needed and acquiring some clients of my own, I decided it was time to start my own grooming business and knew mobile was the direction I wanted to go! I purchased my first trailer and opened Cocker Poodle Doo in April 2007.

In April 2012, I sold my starter trailer and upgraded to my current Wag'n Tails trailer which boasts many upgrades and conveniences that make the whole experience smoother and more enjoyable for me and the dogs I groom. I continue to update my grooming skills and knowledge of dogs by attending continuing education seminars and trade shows related to the grooming industry such as Hershey Groom Expo and Intergroom. In 2009, I passed my certification test in Sporting breeds through the National Dog Groomers Association.

I currently own an English Cocker Spaniel named Satin and a rescued Pit Bull named Sugar. On November 16, 2019, I said goodbye to the inspiration for my business name and logo Kelly. She was 15 and lived an amazing life! Her image will be forever immortalized in my logo!
