Meet The Groomer
I love Engies! From left to right: Emmy, Reggie, Kelly, Annabelle, and Max in front. MIA is Bing because he wouldn't behave and kept bullying Reggie! [7/13/08]

I started grooming in December of 2003 and spent over three years working in a salon under an experienced and successful groomer who taught me everything she knew. After acquiring some of my own clients, I decided it was time to start my own business. Cocker Poodle Doo opened in April of 2007.
I am a member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America and American Mobile Groomers Association. I am also a member of Liberty English Cocker Spaniel Fanciers, where I currently serve as secretary. I continue to update my grooming skills and knowledge of dogs by attending seminars and trade shows related to the grooming industry such as Groom Expo and Intergroom. I am working towards becoming a National Certified Master Groomer through National Dog Groomers Association. I passes my certification test in Sporting breeds in April 2009. The certification consisted of a written exam and practical exam, in which I groomed my handstripped English Cocker. I still need to pass 3 more phases as well at the Master exam. This may take a few years.
I currently own an English Cocker Spaniel named Kelly and an American Pit Bull Terrier named Wilbur. I also have a Quarter Horse named Mac who I enjoy riding on trails. My favorite breed is the English Cocker, but I love all Spaniels, Pit Bulls, and I have an obsession with pink Poodles!
